The Capsule Music Stand

by Kraft Geek

Sturdy, Stylish, and Seriously Impressive

I’ve recently started using one of these Capsule Music Stands, and I’ve got to say - it’s one of those things I didn’t know I’d love this much.

First impressions count!

The first thing that struck me was the packaging. I know this might sound odd, but I’m such a sucker for beautifully designed packaging (if you’re an Apple fan, you’ll get it).

The Capsule Music Stand box is slimline, sleek, and just thoughtful - it felt like opening something special, which instantly gave me a great first impression.

Just so you know: I use the Capsule Music Stand music stand now for my teaching, rehearsing and performing. If you decide to buy one too, after clicking a link in this review, I'll receive a small commission from Kraft Geek as a thank you from them. They've also given me a 15% discount code for students in The Flute Academy. Use the code TFA to get 15% off!

Setting up the stand

Inside the box, there was a simple setup guide, and within a couple of minutes I had it ready to go. My first reaction? Wow. This stand is sturdy. For something so compact, I wasn’t expecting it to feel this solid and well-made.

You can tell there’s real care and precision in the design. Which is something I really appreciate.

The stand in action...

I’ve been using it at home during flute lessons with my students, and it hasn’t wobbled - it's felt solid as a rock despite going up super high for a tall person! My student said she liked it because it looked "modern", which I thought was pretty accurate!

It’s as reliable as any of the heavier, more “professional” stands I’ve used over the years - but with with none of the bulk. It folds down quickly, slips into its neat little carry case, and is light enough to carry to any rehearsals or teaching days.

I took it to a recent orchestra rehearsal, and again - it was flawless. Held everything securely, didn’t wobble at all, and packed away in under 30 seconds. If you’ve ever put up with an ancient, "trusty" (but really not that reliable!) music stand with bent joints, you’ll appreciate what a refreshing change this is.

I'm now a fan

What I especially love is how Kraft Geek have really thought about musicians in their design. On their website, they say their mission is to "empower creators with portable, functional, and beautiful products," and honestly - they’ve nailed it. It’s rare to find something that’s both elegant and extremely practical, but this little stand is both.

(The only negative thing I would say is that the amazing light attachment (not pictured) requires AAA batteries - I would have expected it to be USB rechargeable instead.)

Whether you're teaching, rehearsing, performing, or just want something that fits neatly into your life, this stand makes it easy. Compact when folded, sturdy when open, and surprisingly beautiful in its simplicity.

In short? It’s clever, lightweight, strong, and just really, really good. I’m a fan.

Woohoo! A discount for you...
