Neptune is possibly my favourite piece of music ever written with an alto flute in it. Apart from it being a wonderful piece, The Planets by Holst holds great memories of playing with my university orchestra back in the 1990s! It's a short excerpt, but see if you can still watch it the whole way, because it just gets better as it goes on!
